Local Action Aligned with National and Global Goals

At Community Clicks, we believe change starts locally and builds nationally and globally. Our work aligns with key frameworks that champion inclusion, lifelong learning, and digital equity – turning international goals into everyday impact.

Through practical programmes and strong partnerships, we ensure no one is left behind in the digital world, while helping shape healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable communities.

UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

United Nations

Community Clicks are proud to be acting for our common future and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, making global goals ‘local business’.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

Decade of Healthy Ageing

World Health Organisation

2021-2030 is United Nations Decade of Healthy Ageing, with work led by WHO. It’s an opportunity to bring together governments, civil society, international agencies, professionals, academia, the media, and the private sector for ten years of concerted, catalytic and collaborative action to improve the lives of older people, their families, and the communities in which they live.

Already, there are more than 1 billion people aged 60 years or older, with most living in low- and middle-income countries. Many do not have access to even the basic resources necessary for a life of meaning and of dignity. Many others confront multiple barriers that prevent their full participation in society.

Framework for Action on Digital Inclusion

NHS England

The NHS framework identifies five domains where action is needed:

  • Access to devices and data so everyone can access digital healthcare if they choose to and experience the benefits
  • Accessibility and ease of using technology
  • Skills and capability so that everyone has the skills to use digital approaches and health services respond to the capabilities of all
  • Beliefs and trust so that people understand and feel confident using digital health approaches
  • Leadership and partnerships so that digital inclusion efforts are co-ordinated and help to reduce health inequalities.
